The Faculty Research Support Team (FRST) supports investigators in developing well-composed and competitive research grant applications and manuscripts through a variety of services. These services are available to applications submitted through the Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science.
NIH’s new highlighted topics resource compiles agency priority research areas across all institutes, centers and offices. To optimally align grant applications with emerging NIH priorities, review the list regularly, connect early with the listed scientific contacts to discuss fit and subscribe for tailored updates as new topics are added.
NIH’s adoption of the Common Form for Pending (Other) Support, Biographical Sketch, and a new Biographical Sketch Supplement originally scheduled for May 25, 2025 has been postponed. Please continue to use NIH-specific format pages until further notice. The new effective date is unknown at this time.
Starting with applications due on or after May 25, 2025, NIH will require the use of Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae (SciENcv) to complete the Biographical Sketch and Current and Pending (Other) Support and produce digitally certified PDF(s) certified by the Senior/Key (S/K) Personnel for each grant application. NIH will not allow delegation of the certification.
