The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at UC San Diego provides instruction in the core public health disciplines, and collaborates with departments across campus to address key aspects of 21st century public health, including climate change and data science.

The mission of the Joint Doctoral Program in Public Health (Global Health) is to prepare leaders and researchers in academia and public health practice who:
work to solve health problems that transcend borders,
recognize the principles of social justice and health equity as a key basis for their work,
acknowledge the value of cross-cultural learning, and
practice health diplomacy in the pursuit of global peace and development.
